  25. I am not sure, but I think the Imagewriter I uses a 25 pin connector.
  26. Well I *am* sure that an old apple printer does use this connector, I am
  27. unsure only as to whether this printer is the Imagewriter I.  I have
  28. the mentioned printer, but its nametag has been lost to the ages.

  30. Funny enough, I did need an 25-8 pin adapter cable for this printer
  31. but only so I could use it with my Emplant's Mac serial ports.
  32. I assume it is an Imagewriter I because it is obviously older than the
  33. (8pin) Imagewriter II and it works with the 7.5 Imagewriter printer driver.
  34. I was unsure of the wiring specs of the older apple serial cable
  35. so didn't want to hook it up to the Amiga.

  37. If you have an Emplant Jack, that is another option but you should verify
  38. the wiring of your Imagewriter if, like mine, it has a 25 pin cable.
