- I am not sure, but I think the Imagewriter I uses a 25 pin connector.
- Well I *am* sure that an old apple printer does use this connector, I am
- unsure only as to whether this printer is the Imagewriter I. I have
- the mentioned printer, but its nametag has been lost to the ages.

- Funny enough, I did need an 25-8 pin adapter cable for this printer
- but only so I could use it with my Emplant's Mac serial ports.
- I assume it is an Imagewriter I because it is obviously older than the
- (8pin) Imagewriter II and it works with the 7.5 Imagewriter printer driver.
- I was unsure of the wiring specs of the older apple serial cable
- so didn't want to hook it up to the Amiga.

- If you have an Emplant Jack, that is another option but you should verify
- the wiring of your Imagewriter if, like mine, it has a 25 pin cable.
